Proposed Marchstone development in Cross Plains
The Marchstone Development is a proposed large-scale residential and golf course project on approximately 479 acres in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, adjacent to the Black Earth Creek watershed (approximate map from 2025). Proposed by developers Jeff and Kyle Haen (JEKY LLC), the project was annexed into the Village of Cross Plains in October 2025 and received Final Plat approval in November 2025, with Phase I construction of roads, utilities, and stormwater infrastructure underway in spring/summer 2026. BECWA has raised concerns about potential impacts to the watershed, including water quality, stormwater runoff, and proximity to the creek's sensitive headwaters, Festge Springs.
